Yesterday, the bakery was preparing some beautiful desserts for an Aids Awareness Day event at the West Cafe in Portland. Part of one box contained luscious carrot cake bars topped with a cream cheese frosting flecked through with pumpkin, each topped with a fresh violet yellow pansy. So today's bakery customers can benefit as well, the case will contain a more traditional, though none the less, delicious carrot cake square bar with sprinkles and a sliver of carrot too.
